Friday, April 17, 2009 to kick off a spring weekend dedicated to a celebration of athletics at Babson. Millerick and DiGangi are the five new members who will be inducted, with soccer stars Jim Fisher and Dan Pucci, plus hockey stalwart Jim Creamer also being honored.

Millerick stands as the winningest coach in Babson baseball history with 178 victories and a .553 winning percentage, amassed over a nine-year span. He has also served Babson in several athletics administration positions, including Director of Athletics from 1997 to 2004.

DiGangi, one of Millerick's players, had a brilliant career, in which he compiled a .355 batting average and 99 RBI, among other statistics that place him near the top in several categories over Babson's baseball history. The slugger had one of the most productive years in Babson history in 1994 when he posted a .445 batting average, with six circuit clouts and 43 RBI, earning him accolades as conference Player-of-the-Year and a first-team All-New England selection. DiGangi was also an outstanding defensive performer at 1B and 3B, along with being a closer on the Beaver pitching staff.

Millerick and DiGangi join former Babson baseballers Rick Renwick, George Salvitti, and Jon Cignetti as members of the Babson Athletics Hall of Fame.
