With no baseball field of its own, the Beaver 9 did its practicing at the Kelly Field playground,
when it was available. Kelly is located three miles from campus, off Weston Road near Rt. 9,
at the site of Bates Elementary School. Games were played at the Wellesley High School field.

Bob Sorrentino dances off first base after
lining a single to center vs. Bryant. An unidentified
Babson baserunner scrambles safely back
to second base after the ball got away from
a Bryant infielder during a rundown following
Sorrentino's hit. Babson walloped Bryant, 14-4.

The Beaver 9 bench. From R-L, the player sitting next to the chest protector
with his hands in his jacket pockets is unidentified. Next to him is P Bob Dougan.
To Dougan's right and looking at the camera is 2B Stu Libby.
Then, that's SS Gary Kurtz with his arms folded. At the far end of the bench and looking
at the camera is an unidentified Beaver (the umpire behind Bob Dougan in the photo above).
