Coach Steve Stirling heads back to the bench following infield prior to the Babson-Lowell game.

Bottom of the ninth inning, two outs, with Babson trailing the Framingham State Rams, 9-6,
Bobby Kelly tries to check his swing, but the umpire ruled he went around for a strike.
Two pitches later, with a 2-2 count, Kelly lined a basehit, scoring Al Barone from second,
to cut the deficit to two runs. However, the Beaver rally fell short, as they lost to the Rams, 9-7.
Kelly had three hits and three RBI in the game.

George Salvitti measures his lead vs. Lowell. Salvitti got to first on a perfectly executed drag bunt.

Chuck Fitzsimmons dives back
to first safely on a pickoff attempt.

Bob Gorman takes a pitch outside the strike zone in the Lowell game.

Freshman Skip Short slides headfirst to second base for a two-bagger after belting
a line-drive down the left field line. Short's seventh-inning double knocked
in a Beaver run, and he later scored on the front-end of a Bobby Kelly
circuit clout, as the Beavers lost 8-6 in the opener of a doubleheader swept by Stonehill.

Phil Tuminelli plates a Beaver run
in a 3-2 loss to Suffolk.

Rick Coyne fires.
