Just back from Cocoa, Fla., the Beaver 9 works to make sure Opening Day is exactly that.

O'Quinn would go on to be one of the best
players in Babson history.

When word was out that Coach Frank Millerick
was taking his Beaver 9 to Cocoa Beach, an unprecedented invasion of spring vacationers resulted. The inimitable skipper did not disappoint.

Still dazed from a final night out on the Florida trip,
slugging first baseman Dave DiGangi searches for the van to the airport,
while pitcher Joe Crowley ponders where he left his socks,
somewhat reminiscent of Miami Vice leading actor Don Johnson, aka "Sockless Sonny Crockett."
