Steve Lubelczyk fires in the Boston College game. The big righthander pitched three scoreless innings in relief, as the Beavers fell to the Division I power, 11-4.

On the way back behind the plate after a visit to the mound, C Steven McMann looks to the bench for instructions.

Leadoff hitter, Patrick O'Quinn belts a line drive single to get things going
in Babson's 7-3 victory at Brandeis. O'Quinn's three hits and sparkling defense
helped the Beavers avenge an early-season 17-1 thrashing at the hands of the Judges.

Timmy Fessenden has himself a base hit on an infield chopper, easily beating the third baseman's throw. First base coach Eric Dosal (15) is relaxed, knowing all along that Timmy had it beat. The action came in the second game of a Babson-USCGA doubleheader
sweep by the Beavers, 8-3 and 12-2.

That's slugger Jon Cignetti (20) in the photo.

Jon Cignetti holds the CAC championship plaque, standing next to Steven McMann. It was Cignetti's dramatic 9th-inning blast, his second HR of game, that gave the Beavers their second consecutive CAC title.

After belting a HR vs. Old Westbury, Jon Cignetti is greeted by Paul Flaherty (10).
Immediately to Cignetti's right is Timmy Fessenden and behind is a hatless Paul Gordon,
both of whom scored on Cignetti's clout. That's SID Phil Gibson in the shorts.

At the Cocoa stadium following the Beaver victory over Johns Hopkins are (l-r):
Head Coach Frank Millerick, Eddie Sullivan (Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds at Babson),
Betty Sullivan, Sue Putney, Jesse Putney (Vice President of Financial Affairs at Babson),
Terry Govoni, and Assistant Coach Norm Govoni.

Relaxing after the 6-0 win vs. Western Maryland, Eddie Sullivan, Frank Millerick, and Phil Gibson
enjoy themselves.

Back home in Wellesley, coaches Norm Govoni and Frank Millerick take time to pose with four dads: Mr. Lappen, Mr. Conant, Mr. Frick, and Mr. McMann.

An immeasurably more enjoyable experience

with four moms: Mrs. McMann, Mrs. Lappen,
 Mrs. Frick, and Mrs. Conant.
