August 5, 1998
Mike Reed, head coach at Clark University, becomes assistant coach at Babson.

August 12, 1979
Steve Stirling assumes role of head coach, replacing Harvey Doneski.

August 17, 2002
Matt Noone inks a contract as the ninth head coach of Babson baseball. Noone becomes skipper of the Beaver 9 after 13 years as an assistant at Northeastern.

August 25, 2003
Brendan Ryan, former Providence College and Northeastern University ace, signs on as the Beaver pitching coach.

August 31, 2005
In the largest turnout ever, 17 frosh are among the 42 hopefuls who report to Coach Matt Noone at Govoni Field for the first day of tryouts for the 2006 Babson baseball squad.
