Athletics Director-Baseball Coach Frank Millerick announces decision that Babson baseball team's planned spring 2001 trip to Cocoa Beach, Fla. is canceled as a result of a hazing incident. In place of the southern trip, Millerick mandates that the team will spend the spring break performing community service.
